A wide choice of flame retardant and cleanable fabrics, allowing all types of area to be shaded or blacked out.  Recognising the potential abuse that all blinds can suffer from in the schools environment, standard features with our Roller Blinds  reduce the potential for damage and ongoing cost of repairs:

Suitable for  offices, reception areas as well as classrooms. All contract fabrics are flame retardent, securely sewn and available in many colours and designs to suit most environments.

The vertical blind is widely used in schools, offices, IT computer rooms and reception areas. They are well equiped to survive the rigours of school life:

Note

Verticals at the Windows & Roller blinds on the Doors can be matched in many fabrics, a requirement on most fire exit doors for safety reasons.

If you wish to retain the use of window cills for book storage, etc, you should consider using roller or Venetian blinds not verticals, as the louvers will foul on any obstruction on the window cill.

We offer a very robust system with a wide choice of colours, slat widths and control systems.

Suitable for very large windows and between glazings, taking up very little space when fully raised. Most classrooms would use sturdy 50mm (2") slats. In offices and where a more modern look is required, say in a new IT suite, narrow 25mm (1") slats may by specified.

Standard operation is by cord & wand. For extremely large, unusually shaped or high level windows and skylights, a Techtonic louver system in 50mm slat could be installed.

With the use of the interactive boards  or projectors in almost all classrooms now, Blackout Roller or Vertical blinds are now more commonly seen.

Some rooms such as science laboratories, lecture theatres and drama studios may require a much greater degree of blackout than ordinary blinds can provide, even when opaque fabrics are used, as light will stream around the edges and gaps between the louvers or slats. For these areas the Solite 100% cassette blackout blind is the ideal answer.

By enclosing an opaque fabric within side channels, the roller within a cassette and the blind dropping down to a special cill profile, up to 99% light exclusion can be achieved.

Solite cassette blinds can be manually operated by continuous ball chain, or gear operated for larger blinds (very useful as the control handle can be detached and locked away denying use to unauthorized persons).

From classroom tooffice or hall curtains, we offer a full service using contract FR fabric. Hand drawn, corded light to heavy duty tracks are available.

 Bespoke products  are available for unusually shaped windows or Skylights, such as the Tectonic Venetian Roof Blinds or Pleated Tensioned Blinds.
To reduce heat gain and glare but retain some view out, the use of screen fabrics can  achieve this.
